Himachal Ladakh Tour 12 Days

Day 01: Arrival Delhi

The package of Himachal Ladakh Tour of 12 days starts here. Pickup from the Airport or Railway Station and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight at Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi – Shimla

Morning drive to Shimla, covering 370 kms / 07 hrs. Situated at a panoramic location, this hilly town is surrounded by green pastures and snow-capped peaks. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure or to explore the Mall area on your own. Overnight at Shimla.

Day 03: Shimla

Morning proceed for sightseeing of Shimla & Kufri – the winter sports capital, where you can photograph yourself in hired Pahari or Himachali outfits, enjoy horse riding or yak riding (optional basis). Again proceed to Naldera, which is famous for its golf course and scenic beauty. Evening is free for leisure to explore the famous Mall Road of Shimla, where you first climb to the Jhaku hill to visit the Hanuman temple. Return back to the hotel. Overnight at Shimla.

Day 04: Shimla – Manali

Morning drive to Manali, covering 260 kms / 08 hrs. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free to explore Manali on your own by short walks. Overnight at Manali.

Day 05: Manali – Rothang Pass – Solang Valley – Manali

Morning drive to snow point at Rothang Pass or near by (Depend on season), on the way visit – Solang valley which is famous for skiing in winter. Return back to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight at Manali.

Day 06: Manali – Sarchu

Early morning drive to Sarchu, covering 215 Kms / 08 hrs. On the way we cross Rohtang Pass (13130 ft.), Keylong (11050 ft.), Baralacha Pass (16150 ft.), that's when the Himachal Ladakh Tour gets more interesting. Overnight stopover at Sarchu (14050 ft.) which is the border of the states of Himachal Pradesh (Lahaul) and Jammu & Kashmir (Ladakh). On arrival transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight at Sarchu.

Day 07: Sarchu – Leh

The Himachal Ladakh Tour of 12 days continues. Early morning drive to Leh, covering 255 kms / 09 hrs. The journey through Nakeela and Lachangla Pass (16617 ft.). Lunch at Pang; continue drive to Leh – passing through Skyangchu Thang (Biggest and Highest Plateau on Earth on Stretch of 42 Kms), Tanglang La Pass (17585 ft.) and Indus Valley. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight at Leh.

Day 08: Leh – Khardangla Pass – Leh

Morning proceeds for excursion to Khardangla (18380 ft.) the world’s highest motorable road and gateway to Siachen Glacier. Returns back to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight at Leh.

Day 09: Leh – Pangong Lake – Leh

Early morning proceed for full day excursion to Pangong Lake (14500 ft), through Changla Pass 17350 ft., it is the third highest motorable road in the world. Pangong Lake – is the highest altitude salt water lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the Banks of Pangong while appreciating the changing colours and fascinating high altitude of the Lake. Afternoon drive back to Leh by the same route. Overnight Leh.

Day 10: Leh – Nubra Valley

Morning drive to Nubra Valley, covering 125 kms / 06 hrs) – via Khardungla Pass, 40 kms from Leh (The Highest Motorable Road in the World / 18390 ft). Continue drive to Nubra Valley – is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers, it's situated to the North of Ladakh District between the Karakoram and Zanskar ranges of the Himalayas. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight at Nubra Valley.

Day 11: Nubra Valley – Leh

Morning proceed to explore local villages by walk or to enjoy the Camel Safari in Sand Dunes (optional basis). Afternoon drive back to Leh by same route. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free to explore local markets. Overnight Leh.

Day 12: Depart Leh

Morning transfer to the airport for departure and comes the conclusion of Himachal Ladakh Tour of 12 days.
