Swiss Visa Update

Embassy Of Switzerland in India has recently announced that with immediate effect and due to the high volume of the visa applications, the Swiss Visa VFS Centre and the Embassy of Switzerland in New Delhi will only accept the visa applications, with travel dates, which are not falling in next 15 days from the date of application submission at the VFS Centres across India. This is valid for all the short-term tourist visa applications.

More Destinations Open

New Zealand is reopening their borders from the month of August as announced by the nation's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern. Border safeguards will be fully lifted and all pre departure testing will be dropped by end of July.

Recent reports from Laos Authority have confirmed that the international checkpoints of Laos will be reopened for fully vaccinated citizens and overseas tourists. For those who are unvaccinated, a Rapid Antigen Test report issued within 48 hours of departing the origin country will be needed. In case, a tourist tests positive for COVID-19, they shall bear all the medical expenses and treatment.

Also, fully vaccinated travellers coming to India from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will no longer need to take the Covid PCR test as per the latest guidelines. The travellers can now upload their vaccination completion certificate on Air Suvidha portal.

With things slowly and steadily returning to normal post Covid-19 pandemic, Italy too, like many countries across the globe, has relaxed Covid-19 travel restrictions.
