Day 01: Arrive Aurangabad
The journey of Ajanta Ellora Tour Package starts from here. Pick up from the airport & transfer to the hotel. Afternoon proceed for half day sightseeing of Aurangabad city, covering famous sightseeing points along with”Bibi-ka-Maqbara” followed by explore shopping at local market. Return back to hotel, evening is free for leisure. Overnight at Aurangabad.
Day 02: Aurangabad – Ellora – Aurangabad
Post breakfast proceed for full day excursion to Ellora (40kms / 1.5 hrs). The caves are 2000 years old and consist of temples and monasteries made from rocks by Buddhist Hindu and Jain monks and craftsmen. Afternoon drive back to Aurangabad and transfer to the hotel. (Ellora caves are closed every Tuesday). Overnight at Aurangabad.
Day 03: Aurangabad – Ajanta – Aurangabad
Ajanta Ellora Tour Package continues. Post breakfast proceed for full day excursion to Ajanta, covering 110 kms / 2.5 hrs (per way). Ajanta Caves – they are cut from the volcanic lavas of the Deccan trap in a steep crescent-shaped hillside in a forested ravine of the Sahyadri hills. These caves are very old consisting of 24 monasteries and temples made out of solid rock. The wall paintings and frescoes of these caves are a wealth of colors. Later on proceeds to Civic–cum–Cultural Complex, a gallery of local art and crafts and shopping complex. Return back to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight at Aurangabad. (Ajanta caves are closed every Monday)
Day 04: Depart Aurangabad
Post breakfast free at hotel, later transfer to the airport for departure. The memorable trip of Ajanta Ellora Tour Package ends.
