Business Travel Takes Off First Quarter 2022

After a long pause Business Travel in India is back to its own form. Reports have revealed exciting statistics of this travel sector as it has brought good relief to various travel industry segments. Moreover large enterprises to small and medium companies have already started booking flights, hotels and visa (US, UK & Schengen) which are experiencing a huge rush at the moment. Important Airport Update

Heathrow Airport caps passengers at 100,000 per day between 12th July to 11th September. This may lead to either curtailment or cancellation of flights. British Airways have already informed us that they will be cancelling all unticketed passengers travelling between 15th July through 24th July. We are uncertain whether new bookings will be accepted for this period. The cap of 100,000 passengers according to some airlines is almost 50% of capacity being handled by Heathrow Airport on an average. The action is highly disruptive. We will update affected travellers as and when we hear from the concerned airlines they are booked on.

Good news coming in as Myanmar has reopened to foreign nationals after a long break since 2020. So international travelers can now visit the beautiful southeast Asian country again and explore the age old history and unique culture. Business e-Visa applications for Myanmar resumed on April 1, followed by tourist e-Visa on May 15, 2022.
