In a recent announcement, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has made masks mandatory in flight and at the airports in India. This will be followed across all flights and all airlines. Travellers need to obey the mask mandate and follow basic sanitary practices for their own safety and also the safety of others. In view of the above, the Delhi High Court has also mandated to take strict action against passengers travelling by air and not following the mask and basic hygiene rules.

48-Hour Acclimatization mandatory For Ladakh Tourists

Recently Leh-Ladakh administration has issued an order stating that tourists arriving in Leh will now have to undergo mandatory 48 hours of acclimatization before commencing their journey in the cold desert region. Leh is situated at an elevation of 3500m above sea level and that very reason can cause health issues among tourists travelling by air. In order to prevent acute high altitude sickness this step was necessary according to the reports from Leh-Ladakh Authority.

Two Leopard Reserves in Jaipur

Thrilling news for the wildlife lovers as the Pink City is the first destination to get two leopard reserves in India. Jhalana Leopard Reserve and the newly-added Amagarh Leopard Reserve are now the latest attractions of Rajasthan. Amagarh Reserve is an important wildlife corridor for not just leopards, but also other important animals like hyenas, jackals, wild cats, foxes, civet cats, nilgai, sambhar, rabbits, among others.

The forest department has announced that there will be leopard safaris in these areas and will be conducted in two shifts – morning and evening.
