Day 01: Arrive Rajkot – Junagarh – Sasan Gir
Gujarat Holiday Package starts from this point. Pick up from airport, drive to Sasan Gir (155kms / 3.5hrs) and start taking glimpses of Gujarat. En-route stop at Junagadh, visit Uperkot Fort, Ashok Rock Edict, Mahabat Makabara and Junagadh Museum. Continue drive to Sasan Gir. on arrival transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is free at hotel or explore nearby village by walking. Evening return back to hotel. Overnight at Sasan Gir.
Day 02: Sasan Gir – Somnath
Early morning proceed for jungle safari by jeep at Gir National Park, the only national park in India where one can find ‘Asiatic Lion’. Return back to hotel for freshen-up & breakfast. Later drive to Somnath (50kms / 1hrs), on arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit Bhalka Tirth & Somnath Temple. Evening return back to hotel. Overnight at Somnath.
Day 03: Somnath – Dwarka
Gujarat Holiday Package continues in full swing. Post breakfast drive to the sacred town of Dwarka (230kms / 5hrs). En-route stop at Porbandar, visit Kirti Mandir – a place where Gandhiji was born. Continue drive to Dwarka, on arrival transfer to the hotel. Afternoon visit Dwarkadeesh Temple and Gomti Ghat, later take a trip to Bet Dwarka, visit Old Temple of Krishna. the trip from Okha on the mainland to the temple is by a local boat. On the way to Bet Dwarka, visit Nageshwar Temple – one of the 12th Jyotilingam of Shiva. Glimpses of Gujarat also includes Rukmini Temple and Gopi Talav. Evening return back to Hotel. Overnight at Dwarka.
Day 04: Depart Dwarka – Rajkot
Post breakfast drive to Rajkot (225kms / 4hrs), on arrival transfer to airport or railway station. The short but sweet trip of Gujarat Holiday Package comes to an end.
