Day 01: Arrive Hubli – Hampi
The historic trip of Hampi Tour 4 Days starts from here. Pick up from Hubli airport, drive to Hampi (150 kms / 03 hrs). On arrival check in to the hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure to explore the small town Hampi by foot at your own. Overnight at Hampi.
Day 02: Hampi
Post breakfast visit Vithala Temple, Royal Enclosure & Virupaksha Temple.
Vithala Temple – an ancient monument well-known for its exceptional architecture & unmatched craftsmanship, dates back to the 15th century.
Royal Enclosure – was once the home of Vijayanagara King & his queens, today the enclosure lies largely in ruins but still speaks loudly of the life it once contained.
Virupaksha Temple – a UNESCO World Heritage Site, dedicated to Virupaksha, a form of ‘Lord Shiva’; the main center of pilgrimage at Hampi on the bank of River Tungabhadra.
Afternoon return back to the hotel, rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight at Hampi. Hampi Tour 4 Days becomes more interesting now.
Day 03: Hampi
Post breakfast the whole day is free to explore the beautiful ancient time town Hampi through some optional activities;
1) Take A Coracle Across The Riverside
This is a unique way to enjoy in Hampi is by taking a riverside ride on a boat. These round cane boats are called Coracles and they have been an important means of transportation in Hampi since the 15th century. A new experience, one can get to the other side of Hampi, where you can just relax for a day.
2) Go On A Cycling Tour
If anyone don’t like walking, can rent a cycle and take the trails to most of the ruins in Hampi. Cycles are available for rent on a day-to-day basis. One will have to pay the rent as this activity is optional, it is one of the best way to explore the city as one not only get to know about the best places in Hampi, but one can also enjoy some physical activity by visiting the famous spots. Day 04: Depart Hampi – Hubli
Morning is free at hotel, Later drive to Hubli airport for departure (150kms / 03 hrs). Hampi Tour 4 Days concludes.
