Day 01: Arrive Hubli – Badami
Your Hampi Badami Tour for 4 days starts from here. Pick up from Hubli airport, drive to Badami (100 kms / 02 hrs). On arrival check in to the hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure to explore the small town Badami by foot at your own. Overnight at Badami
Day 02: Badami – Pattadakal – Aihole – Hampi
After breakfast visit Badami Cave, followed by visit to Aihole & Pattadakal.
Badami Cave – a cave temple complex for mainly Hindu, these caves are considered an example of Indian rock-cut architecture, known as Badami Chalukya architecture, which dates from the 6th century.
Pattadakal – situated 25 kms from Badami, a temple complex of 7th & 8th century for Hindu & Jain; a UNESCO World Heritage Site, described as ‘a harmonious bled of architectural forms from Northern & Southern India.
Aihole – situated 35 kms from Badami & 10 kms from Pattadakal, an historic site of ancient era considered to be the birthplace of Hindu stone architecture which is one of the major centers of historically important Chalukya monuments dated from 4th to 12th century.
Afternoon drive to Hampi (130 kms / 2.5 hrs), on arrival check-in to the hotel. Overnight at Hampi
Day 03: Hampi
Hampi Badami Tour for 4 days continues. Post breakfast visit Vithala Temple, Royal Enclosure & Virupaksha Temple.
Vithala Temple – an ancient monument well-known for its exceptional architecture & unmatched craftsmanship, dates back to the 15th century.
Royal Enclosure – was once the home of Vijayanagara King & his queens, today the enclosure lies largely in ruins but still speaks loudly of the life it once contained.
Virupaksha Temple – a UNESCO World Heritage Site, dedicated to Virupaksha, a form of ‘Lord Shiva’; the main center of pilgrimage at Hampi on the bank of River Tungabhadra.
Afternoon return back to the hotel, rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight at Hampi.
Day 04: Depart Hampi – Hubli
Morning is free at hotel, Later drive to Hubli airport for departure (150kms / 03 hrs). The Hampi Badami Tour for 4 days ends here.
