Day 01: Arrive Ahmedabad – Rajkot
Gujarat highlights - 6 days tour starts from here. Pick up from airport, drive to Rajkot (230kms / 4.5hrs). On arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon proceed for sightseeing of Rajkot city. Return back to hotel. Overnight at Rajkot.
Day 02: Rajkot – Junagarh – Sasan Gir
Post breakfast drive to Sasan Gir (155kms / 3.5hrs). En-route stop at Junagadh, visit Uperkot Fort, Ashok Rock Edict, Mahabat Makabara and Junagadh Museum. Continue drive to Sasan Gir. on arrival transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is free at hotel or explore nearby village by walking. Evening return back to hotel. Overnight at Sasan Gir.
Day 03: Sasan Gir – Somnath
Surprises coming your way with Gujarat highlights - 6 days tour as early morning proceed for jungle safari by jeep at Gir National Park. This is the only national park in India where one can find ‘Asiatic Lion’. Return back to hotel for freshen-up & breakfast. Later drive to Somnath (50kms / 1hrs), on arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit Bhalka Tirth & Somnath Temple. Evening return back to hotel. Overnight at Somnath.
Day 04: Somnath – Dwarka
Gujarat highlights - 6 days tour continues. Post breakfast drive to the sacred town of Dwarka (230kms / 5hrs). En-route stop at Porbandar, visit Kirti Mandir – a place where Gandhiji was born. Continue drive to Dwarka, on arrival transfer to the hotel. Afternoon visit Dwarkadeesh Temple and Gomti Ghat, later take a trip to Bet Dwarka, visit Old Temple of Krishna. the trip from Okha on the mainland to the temple is by a local boat. On the way to Bet Dwarka, visit Nageshwar Temple – one of the 12th Jyotilingam of Shiva. Rukmini Temple and Gopi Talav. Evening return back to Hotel. Overnight at Dwarka.
Day 05: Dwarka – Ahmedabad
Post breakfast drive to Ahmedabad (440kms / 8 hrs). On arrival transfer to the hotel. Evening is free for leisure or explore Ahmedabad city by walking on your own. Over night at Ahmedabad.
Day 06: Depart Ahmedabad
Post breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Ahmedabad city, covering Akshardham Temple, Adalaj Stepwell, Sabarmati Ashram (Gandhi Ashram), later transfer to airport or railway station. Gujarat highlights - 6 days tour concludes here.
