India witnessed a big surge in domestic air passengers as reported by Economic Times. The last month has seen domestic air traffic reaching new heights at least 4 times with a staggering 4,63,417 passengers once and number of flight movements recorded at 5,998 on a single day.

World's Largest Meditation Center

The Prime Minister of India Shri. Narendra Modi has inaugurated the newly built Swarved Mahamandir, the world's largest meditation center in Umaraha, Varanasi. Spanning for more than 300,000 square feet, the center accounts for 20000 meditation practioners. It is a seven floor super-structure carved with verses of the Swarveda upon the walls.

Bikaner Camel Festival: 13th - 15th January 2024

One of the popular festivals in Rajasthan, takes place every year in the month of January, Camel Festival represents a unique harmony between human and animal. This two-day festival is an initiative of the Department of Tourism, Govt of Rajasthan and attended by thousands of locals and tourists. The festival starts with a procession of camels adorned beautifully in traditional necklaces and anklets and vibrantly colored bridles. 

The procession is followed by a unique dance competition of the camels - the biggest attraction of the festival where the audience is left spellbound as camels dance to the music and rhythm. Turban tying competition with the tourists and cultural programs, dazzling fireworks are added attractions of the festival.
