Ladakh Trip 5 Days

Day 01: Arrive Leh

Your Ladakh Trip for 5 days starts here. Pickup from the Airport and drive. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for rest to acclimatize with the high altitude. Overnight at Leh.

Day 02: Leh – Alchi – Leh

Morning proceeds to visit the 1000-year-old paintings of Alchi Monastery 68 km from Leh. En-route visit the great statue of Maitreya Buddha at Likir monastery, Sangam of Indus & Zanskar Rivers which are the two major rivers in Ladakh and military Hall of Fame. Evening returns back to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight at Leh.

Day 03: Leh – Khardongla – Leh

Ladakh Trip continues. Morning proceeds to visit Khardongla Pass (18360 ft) – World’s highest motorable pass. Afternoon visit Stok Palace Museum which is also the residence of the present 38th King of Ladakh & Thiksey Monastery which enshrines the most photographed statue of Maitreya Buddha in India. Returns back to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight at Leh.

Day 04: Leh – Pangong – Leh

The Ladakh trip becomes more serene from here. Early morning proceeds for full day excursion to Pangong Lake 135 km from Leh – one of the most amazing Lakes in the entire Himalayas which is nearly 140km long and 3-5km in width more than half of which lies in Tibetan territory. Evening returns back to the hotel. Rest of the day is free to explore local markets by shopping. Overnight at Leh.

Day 05: Depart Leh

The 5 days fascinating Ladakh trip comes to an end. Morning transfer to the airport for departure.
