Day 01: Arrive Christchurch

On arrival in Christchurch, seat in coach guests will be met and privately transferred to hotel. Self-drive guests will collect a rental car and drive to their accommodation. Christchurch is New Zealand's largest South Island city. Set on the expansive Canterbury Plains between the Pacific Ocean and the mighty snow-capped Southern Alps it is a vibrant, ever-changing city. The city is interwoven by the meandering Avon River, linking parks, gardens, and avenues. Overnight at Christchurch.

Day 02: Christchurch - Queenstown

Depart across the fertile patchwork that make up the Canterbury Plains to a scenic wonderland with golden tussocks, snow-capped mountains and turquoise lakes. At Lake Tekapo the solitary ‘Church of the Good Shepherd’ takes pride of place against the backdrop of the vivid blue glacier-fed lake. Follow the shores of beautiful Lake Pukaki and through the historic Central Otago region to Queenstown.

Day 03: Queenstown - Milford Sound - Queenstown

Fiordland is one of the world’s last great wildernesses and the road to Milford Sound is not just a journey, but a destination in itself, with mirror lakes, spectacular waterfalls, and water-sculpted rocks.

Milford Sound is an awesome sight with sheer granite cliffs towing into the sky. Take in the native wildlife and breath-taking scenery from the comfort of a modern vessel fully equipped with spacious decks, relaxing lounges and onboard lunch. Return to Queenstown. Overnight at Queenstown.

Day 04: Queenstown

Magnificent vistas and majestic mountains dominate this compact alpine resort town. The expansive natural physical environment has seen Queenstown described as the adventure capital of the world. Today is a free day to add some of the endless optional activities Queenstown has to offer.

Day 5: Queenstown - Mt Cook - Christchurch

Return north through picturesque sheep farming country to Aoraki Mt Cook National Park. This rugged land of ice and rock showcases 19 giant peaks including New Zealand's highest mountain. Heading east, the dramatic vast landscape gradually turns to the familiar plains that signal your return into Christchurch.
