Day 01:Lima
Arrival in Lima. The city is characterized by its historic centre, art galleries, archaeological sites and traditions.
Day 02: Lima - Cusco - Yucay
Flight to Cusco and transfer to the Sacred Valley. On the way visit the sanctuary Cochauasi Wasi, the authentic market “Mercado de Urubamba”.
Day 03: Yucay
In the morning optional excursions like visiting the Pisac Market, Rafting on the Urubamba river, Biking tour in the Sacred Valley or Hiking from Ollantaytambo to Cachicata. Enjoy lunch in a typical restaurant and visit the famous ruins of Ollantaytambo.
Day 04: Yucay - Machu Picchu - Cusco
Full day excursion by Vista dome train to visit the Incan site of Machu Picchu including a guided visit. Return by bus and train to Cusco.
Day 05: Cusco
Half day city tour to visit the Plaza de Armas, which was once the exact center of the Incan world, the cathedral, built on the ruins of the ancient Inca Palace and borders on other churches on both sides. Proceed to Sacsayhuaman, a ruin located above Cusco. The beauty and monumental scale of this magnificent Inca fortress does not fail to impress its visitors.
Day 06 : Cusco - Puno
Full day panoramic drive to Puno on the shores of magnificent Lake Titicaca (seat-in). On the way visit Andahuaylillas with its Sistine Chapel of America, the temple of Wiracocha Racchi and Puka Pukara en route inclusive lunch.
Day 7: Puno - Lima
Day tour to the manmade islands of Uros and the unique culture of the Taquile Island (seat-in). The narrow island of Taquile is home to numerous pre-Inca and Inca ruins and Inca terracing. Lunch included. Transfer to Juliaca and flight to Lima.
Day 08: Lima
City tour inclusive visit to the Larco Herrera Museum. This unique museum contains a large collection of pottery from Inca and pre-Inca civilizations as well as erotic art pieces.
Day 09: Lima - Quito
Flight to Quito in Ecuador. Surrounded by snow-capped mountain peaks, Quito is a city offering the best possible blend of Old World charm and modern sophistication.
Day 10: Quito
Half day city tour of scenic Quito. Visit to the Equatorial Monument “Middle of the World”, where you can stay with one foot on the Northern hemisphere and with the other one on the Southern hemisphere.
Day 11: Quito
Day at leisure. Optional full day excursion to visit the famous and colourful Otavalo market.
Day 12: Quito
End of the roundtrip and homebound flight or extension to Galapagos islands.
