Thai Airways Returns to Kolkata

Popular international Airlines Thai Airways is returning to Kolkata once again after a long hiatus. The flights are scheduled to take off from Kolkata airport on 2nd January 2023. In addition to that, Batik Air Malaysia has also started their operations from Kolkata to Kuala Lumpur from 10th October 2022.

Top Destinations of Festive Season

Ahead of festive season the tourism activity is touching its peak as all the travel segments are going full house at the moment. According to a data analysis by a world's leading travel search engine, flight searches from Indian airports have increased by 118 percent compared to pre-pandemic levels. Interestingly, international and domestic flight searches have increased by 143 percent and 91 percent respectively. In parallel to that, hotel searches are also soaring up to 34 percent compared to 2019.

The top international destinations for Indian travelers in festive season have been Dubai, Bangkok, London, Singapore, Bali, Male and New York as restrictions worldwide are either eased or removed completely.

After a long pause, Canada Government has finally removed travel restrictions from 1st Oct'22 for travelers entering Canada through air, land or marine. Health checks to board planes and trains are not required
Wearing masks on planes and trains is not required
