New Guidelines For International Arrivals in India

The Ministry Of Health & Family Welfare, Govt Of India has issued a new guideline dated 21st November 2022. The guideline clearly defines the protocols for Pre Travel, During Travel and On Arrival situations and stands effective from 22.11.2022. Also, the self-declaration forms for Covid vaccination that needed to be filled in by incoming international passengers on the Air Suvidha portal, will no longer be required.

Experience the World's Longest River Cruise in India

Great news for the cruise lovers and travellers as the World's Longest Luxury River Cruise is all set to start its journey in January 2023, according to a recent announcement by Union Minister of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways. Known as Ganga Vilas Cruise, it will cover a distance of around 4000 km. connecting Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh to Dibrugarh in Assam, while traveling through Kolkata and Dhaka.

The ship will pass through the Kaziranga National Park and Sundarbans Delta with an opportunity to experience Ganga Aarti and checking the natural wonders of the world's largest mangrove forest, visiting Mayong, which is known as the cradle of 'black magic' in India. The Ganga Vilas cruise will be undergoing the longest river journey of 50 days, covering 27 river systems, and more than 50 tourist sites, including World Heritage Sites.

Kolkata Introduces "Pick Up & Drop Points" For Tourists

Kolkata has always been one of the popular tourist destination of Eastern India due to its rich history, cultural heritage, lip smacking food, sweets, grand festivals and ethnicity. There will be pre-specified pickup-drop points in different strategic locations across Kolkata where only commercially registered tourist vehicles operated by the Association of Tourism Service Provider of Bengal (ATSP) will be allowed to pick and drop tourists.

Some of the popular tourist attractions in Kolkata are: Victoria Memorial, Howrah Bridge, Dakshineswar Kali Temple, Indian Museum, James Princep Ghat, Eden Gardens, Science City, Belur Math and Park Street.

Winterline Carnival 2022
