Corporate Travel News: February 2022

After nearly two years good news has come from Australia authorities who have considered the reopening of their country borders for vaccinated travellers. The External Ministry of India has appreciated the decision to reopen the Australian border for Indian students and visa holders to return to Australia. The Australian border will also be open for tourists and visa holders who are fully vaccinated against COVID.

In similar news, fully vaccinated Indians who wish to travel to destinations out of the country for work or tourism are Morocco, Kuwait, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Thailand, Singapore, Cyprus, Vietnam, Israel, Saint Lucia. More countries are getting added to the list continuously.

Note: Pre-departure airport tests for Dubai bound passengers are not required from any point in India. However, on-arrival test (free in Dubai) is still applicable.

The guidelines of international arrivals have experienced frequent changes quite a few times now due to the transforming scenario of Covid situation worldwide. The last guidelines released on 20th January'22 by the Ministry Of Health & Family Welfare, Govt Of India is being revised with new standard operating procedure as released on 10th February'22. The SOP that elaborately contains steps of Planning for Travel, Before Boarding, During Travel and On-arrival, is valid w.e.f 14th February 2022 till further notice.
